What a bunch of screw ups! I take my kids to McDonalds on a regular basis. At least once a week, but more often than not, 3 or 4 times a week. Its not my favorite place to eat in the world, but my kids love it... more like they love the toy in their happy meal, the chocolate milk and the apples with their messy concoction of sugar, artificial caramel flavoring, and yellow #5 infested goo. Considering the fact that McDonalds was my first job as a teenager (isn't it everyone's?) and the fact that I worked at McDonalds in California for 2 1/2 years, the manager position ending up as a position as well, I must say that I am confident on how things work... or at least how they are supposed to run. So, I guess I will get right to the point. Nearly every single time I go to McDonalds in Roosevelt, Utah, My order is messed up. I can't even say that it happens 9 out of 10 times, because it is more often than that. Whether I go through the drive through, or go inside the restaurant, SOMETHING is always wrong. I don't usually get upset. I am very understanding and patient. Half the time I don't even have the employees fix my order, I just live with it. However, last night was the very last straw. My friend and I decided to take our kids to McDonalds for dinner. My friend ordered her meal at 5:50 pm, my order was taken 1 minute behind hers. (the time is right on our receipt) My friend got her food and took my kids to sit down while I waited for mine and my kids' food. And I waited and I waited and other people came and went, and my order sat on the counter unfinished for 20 minutes. Then I asked If they would please put my French fries back until my order was finished because they were ice cold. And I waited some more. Still being patient, but quickly becoming very annoyed when my food was sitting there, cold, unfinished and without even our drink cups to fill and sip on while we waited. Then the girl who took my order held up the counter with her elbows and chatted with her friends. I got even more annoyed. Meanwhile, there I stood. Waiting. After nearly 25 minutes, the girl whom took my order asked me in a very snotty way, "What are you waiting for?!" She reeked attitude and I am telling you, I was now fuming mad. I said," MY FOOD!", while pointing at the tray of ice cold happy meals and limp nuggets. Since they had served my order off the screen ages ago, and they gave my sons Big Mac, (without sauce and plus ketchup and mayo) to some other poor unsuspecting guy who actually wanted the mac sauce, I guess they figured that the tray of two happy meals and a ten piece nugget with NO drinks or fries was left out for Santa Claus or something. I am telling you, these employees of McDonald's in Roosevelt, Utah are the most incompetent screw ups I have ever seen in my life. I asked for a manager and demanded that they re~make every thing. I would have told them forget it and demanded my money back, had it not been a Sunday night. Not much else is open. These employees were totally rude. The girl who was supposed to be getting my order slammed my drink cups on the counter and threw a total hissy fit. I never got an apology or nothing. I am telling you, I would rather drive the addition 30 minutes, clear to Vernal, Utah to go to McDonalds, than go back there again. Once I actually got my food, nearly a half hour after ordering, my friends were finished eating and I was so upset at this point, that I didn't even look at my tray. When I sat down and gave my kids their food, I realized that they STILL screwed up! They hadn't given me my 10 piece nuggets! At this point I was so mad I was shaking. My friend went up to the counter for me because I honestly was too mad to talk to the employees. When she approached the counter, she had to wait for the employees to stop laughing and making fun of me, before she could speak. She told them that after everything, they had forgotten my nuggets. They rolled their eyes and gave her dirty looks. She then proceeded to tell them that she didn't appreciate the attitude problems, and they had no right to be making fun at "my" expense. THEY were the ones who messed up and made the numerous mistakes. So much for good customer service. At McDonalds in Roosevelt, Utah, the customer is never right. What a bunch of screw ups.
