Description

Don't let its name fool you--this is not your typical burger joint. The menu is an eclectic combination of chesses, meats and salads. A large monitor shows head chef Adam Kreisel and staff preparing food in real time, giving you comfort in knowing how your meal is prepared. Sporting events are shown on other televisions in the dining area.

[Excerpt Acme Burger Company's website]
Great food takes a little more time. We promise - the wait will be worth it. Should you have less time, please inform your server - they will be happy to make suggestions.

Good manners dictate that plates will not be cleared from the table until the last person has finished eating their course. Plates will, however, be removed upon request.

Reservations accepted for parties of six or more.

A Really Great Dining Experience
This place is really nicely designed. I really liked the decor. It really had a good "feel" to it. I went in celebration of a family birthday party.

For an appetizer we ordered "The Board" which is Adam's daily selection of cured meats and artisan cheeses from around the world. It was pretty good, but in retrospect, I'd probably not order that again. However, the appetizer did compliment each cheese with the perfect fruit.

Our waitress was very kind and knowledgeable about the menu. We took her advice and ordered the New Zealand King Salmon Burger. Which was simply delicious.

For desert both our waitress and the owner recommended the bread pudding. I'm one who generally doesn't care for bread pudding, but this desert changed my mind!    [19 Oct 2007 14:05:08]
