Best Place in Springdale
This is unquestionably the best restaurant in Springdale. Superb food, well prepared, pleasant ambiance (Zion Park surrounds). Also, good service.

Great Dining Experience
On Monday April 30th my wife and I stopped at the Switchback to grab a bite before we entered Zion Park. Our very pleasant hostess set us at a table by the large windows facing outward so that we could see a view that was so incredible that we are still talking about it.
Our waitress, a really cute young college type, was bubbly and fun. We talked and visited with her. She was efficient and friendly--a credit to her employer and her generation.
The food was good, portions were actually too large and the presentation was excellent. We recommended the restaurant to some people while on the tram in the park. [09 May 2001 11:38:17]

Absolute Best
This restaurant is part of the allure of the park. The food completely fits the environment and the design of the restaurant. The restaurant is open and spacious like the valley around it. The coffee is fresh ground for every pot and combined with the bit and spur across the way it gives enough variety for a week. [28 Aug 2003 22:50:56]

Enjoyable, Great Food, Perfect Setting to Captivate Zion's
This place is a place to go to for any event. We had a function there at the last minute with 35 people and they took us in without a hitch. They set us up right by the amazing view they have of the beautiful mountains and the food that was served there spectacular. They made sure we all had a great time and we had everything we needed through out the evening. Our server was great and recommended some great dishes for us to try.
This place seems so versatile. From taking care of us as a large group or a small quaint group to enjoy the evening. I highly suggest this place to anyone..
