Serving "Western comfort food" such as spicy fries, baked beans, pepper fettuccine, mashed potatoes, wild bunch mole chicken, meatloaf, 16-ounce steaks, and grilled ribeye steaks. Reopened by Jon Sabaca, graduate of NYU and New York Restaurant School.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Try It -- You'll Like It.
This restaurant was reviewed in The New York Times about a year ago. Based on the NYT comment that it was the only restaurant in southern Utah that didn't make its salads with iceberg lettuce, we decided to try it and ended up going there three nights in a row while visiting Capitol Reef National Park. Very good food (we split our dinners, but then we are in our sixties) and excellent service.    [02 Mar 2004 14:28:35]

The View is the Only Good Thing
Expensive, limited, and mediocre describes this restaurant's menu to a T. The view however is quite exceptional. That is what you pay for - so park on the highway then go back to the another restaurant for dinner.    [27 May 2005 19:43:12]
