Good Food
Very good continental American food, pleasant ambience, attentive/friendly service and good selection on the menu. I had the pot roast sandwich with fries which was awesome and I would highly recommend. Was visiting out of town or else I would go back to try more. Horrible!
This was the worst meal I've ever had. I basically ended up paying $10 for some burned chicken. They tried to cover up the burned chicken by putting way too much BBQ sauce on it. It was disgusting. It's now an hour later and now my stomach hurts. I wouldn't be surprised if it is bad chicken.

I did talk to the manager... it was pointless. Save your money. Eat at 7-11 before you eat here. Nastiest restaurant food ever.

** They should take notes from other family restaurants... when you don't like the food or it tastes bad, it is removed from your bill.

Bad Service
I didn't hang around and eat - After waiting over 10 minutes to get someone to take my drink order (they weren't very full at the time) - and other 5-10 minutes after I placed my drink order, I got up and left before I received my drink. I hear this chain has closed several stores during the winter 2006-07, and I can understand why.    [20 Feb 2007 21:23:37]

wonderful place and service
I really had a wonderful time at American Cafe Landmark! I live in Boston and It was my first time at Alexandria.
I still can remember my server's name: Ludmilla, a brazilian girl!!! I had a complete service! Delicious sugestions... Spinach con Queso was the best!
By the way, how can I prepare that?
I'ts soo good!

I must give my complements to the bartender Arash too! He served me at the bar in my second day at the restaurant. Very nice!
