Great Taste, Pleasant ambience!
One of the quieter restaurants in arlington , reasonable prices, good service, and great food. Dim lights make it great place to take a date.    [07 Dec 2003 18:37:25]

Bring a date ...
I found myself in the Ballston area after a business meeting, dropped into this beautiful little jewel of a restauarant – and really enjoyed the food as well as the friendliness of the staff. Everyone in the place is Thai and full of smiles. The menu is 10 pages, not including the second menu for wine and dessert. Having lived in Thailand for 4 years, THIS IS REAL Thai food. They have other things to round out their fare, but focus on the Thai dishes and you can't go wrong. The green and red curry are both exceptionally good, Tom Yum (lemongrass soup) is as hot as you want, yet with blended subtle flavors of chili and lemongrass, and the larb (chicken/pork salad with fresh lime and roasted rice) – great with fresh greens to cool the fire. The sauces have a great traditional balance of sweet, salty and fiery – perfect. The décor is upscale, the bar is quiet and friendly and I’d take a date there anytime. Definitely going back – anybody tell you this place is not Thai, ought to travel a bit more. Order something THAI HOT here and see if you survive ! Check it out.    [10 Feb 2006 18:43:51]
