Best Chinese Food and Service in Virginia
Best food, best service! The service makes you feel so very much at home and anticipates your every need and desire - even before you think of them. The waitstaff remembers you on your second trip and evens remembers what you ordered last time and what you especially liked. My family and I go there and have brought our extemded family. We request to sit in Anna's section each time. Anna is not only wonderful waitress, but she is a very special and very sweet woman. She has gotten to know all my family, brother and his family, sister and her family, my mother and father. We go to House of Emperor whenever any family is in town. We love the relaxing, homey feeling. We feel welcome the moment we walk in the door.

And, on top of it all, the food is just outstanding. The food alone is worth the trip. I'm lucky. I live in town. But, I would drive two hours just for take-out. Yes, the food is that good. There is no genuine Chinese restaurant in all of Virginia that offers food that is even a tenth the quality of House of Emperor. Just average food, service

Pretty good food
I agree with anonymous that the food is very good....but I wouldn't drive 2 hours for the take-out. :) There are plenty of great Chinese restaurants around the Ashburn-Sterling area. House of Emperor is...I would say...slightly above average.    [02 Mar 2005 16:37:46]

Great Chinese in Ashburn
General Tso's Chicken with white meat is awesome. Big chunks of chicken and very little breading. You pay a couple extra bucks but its worth it. Broccoli and garlic sauce also very good.    [11 Apr 2006 19:02:41]

Great Chinese food and nice atmosphere

The Best Chinese Food in NVA
I have to say that the House of Emperor has the best Chinese food in Loudoun County if not the entire Northern VA. Ever since the new owner took over the place last year the food has improved a great deal. You could actually have authentic Chinese food without going to NYC. The Peking duck is a steal at half the price compare to other restaurants. It's a shame people don't recognize the difference between truly good Chinese food and the food you get from Chinese restaurants specialized in home delivery.    [05 Oct 2007 15:46:30]

Friendly Manager - Great Food.
Food was great and above average Chinese carry-out restaurants. Manager was very friendly and recommended us a GREAT dish.
