You'll get the freshest seafood in town at this storefront restaurant on the Downtown Mall. Atop a mound of ice behind the long bar to the left as you enter wait four types of oysters -- from Chincoteague, Long Island, NY, and the Pacific Northwest -- waiting to be consumed raw or steamed on the half shell. If they won't do for an appetizer, order the crab cocktail with huge chunks of blue crab meat served with drawn butter. Among the Asian-influenced main courses, many of them creative, the best bet is the monkfish coated with crushed citrus, lightly fried, and served under a slightly spicy Thai-style basil sauce and under a mound of rice. - frommers

One of the 'villes best restaurants
Last tuesday my wife and I had a great dinner at Blue Light. It was outstanding! from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left everything was unbelevable! it was the first time since we left San Francisco I felt inspired after a meal!
