Authentic Afghan When I saw the sign advertising gyros I pulled in as quickly as I could. Being new to the area, I was not sure what to expect but given the fact I was the only born American in the place I figured I was going to get some pretty good food!
I was greeted by a sour faced, less than helpful gentleman behind the counter but he was kind enough to yell for me when my order was ready to be picked up from the counter.
My fault for not ordering one of the specials. The gyro was dry and not good at all but the pita bread was house made and quite tast [18 Nov 2002 20:55:52]

The best!!! I was at this restaurant several years ago but I'd never forget the good food I was served. I recommend it to anyone, highly. [27 Aug 2003 12:12:04]

Great I've only been twice, once last Friday and again today. It was GREAT both times. My only complaint is, they give you WAY too much food... but I reckon that's why I like it... [05 May 2005 14:23:42]

Kabob Express has moved above 8000 Arl Blvd, FC Sorry about the gyro experience. Next time try their buffet. The place was self serve or carry-out from the counter or buffet. Menu varies, but when they have lamb it is delicious and tender. Their spinach dish is great on their fresh-baked pita bread (they call you when it's ready). Their chick pea dish is also great. I didn't care for their chicken, but I'm used to my own cooking. Try your selections topped with some fresh salad vegetables (lettuce, tomato, onion - no big deal but kept crisp on ice). Warning, they have some lethal hot peppers in a separate veggie area. I recommend not having those. Also, they moved to Arlington Blvd, somewhere above 8000. Haven't been there yet.
