Crispy, Smoky, Succulent Bliss!
Of the 3 pollo a la brasa restaurants I've visited, Super Chicken has *the* best chicken, by far. Cooked on genuine charcoal rotisseries, these birds are crispy on the outside, tender and moist on the inside, bursting with the flavor of excellent spicing and imbued throughout with delicate smokiness.
Don't forget the beans, rice, and sauces (ask for extra--you'll be glad you did). Add some good South American beer and you'll be in heaven.
Shop is very small, with only a few small tables lined up against a wall, so takeout is recommended    []

I work nextdoor to Super Chicken at Foxes Music and I eat at Super Chicken at least twice a week. It NEVER gets old...EVER! Although the place looks like a dump, the smell when you enter makes you forget. Don't be discouraged by the appearence. It's amazing. As far as the sides are concerned...the rice and beans are your best choice. Everything else, except the fries aren't that great. Variable
Used to work near the Super Chicken and would eat there once a week or so. On its good days the chicken is about the best there is. Some days, though, rubbery skin and only quasi-hot bird made the experience less than enjoyable. I also wish they'd invest a little in decor.    [21 Apr 2006 01:45:02]
