Keeping it simple Food is 8 of 10. Crushed crab claw soup is worth it. Steak Gorgonzola was beyond expectation and fresh garden brussel sprouts added more flavour to the dish. Garlicked mashed potatos were thick and lumpy; the way they should be. The steak was a 16oz strip with the proper amount of fat and leanness. Steak was cooked medium rare and it is suggested that many go that route.
The bad part is that the beer selection was small and the silverware needed some upgrading to higher end product to accomodate the food. Service was good in that I was not constantly asked, "How are you doing?" as they do in TGI Fridays. I was left alone and gave a gentle nod if I needed something.
Overall, I would recommend this place for casual dining or beyond 3rd dates. [26 Nov 2007 15:27:37]
