Description
Large menu specializing in local and fresh seafood. Considered by locals as one of top restaurants in area. Owners always on site and visiting with customers. Dinner is $10-$15 and lunch is $4-$8. Everything is made fresh and to order as far as we can tell. Restaurant seems to have at least 100 seats. Good mix of tables and booths.Full bar.

Excellent Food
We dine at Olivia's quite often. The food is truly superb. The seafood chowder is just delicious. All deserts and entrees are carefully hand prepared. I noticed the owner is on top of everything that comes out of his kitchen. If you want truly the best prepared food you need to try Olivia's at the point. [05 Mar 2006 12:03:33]

Great at any time
My favorite is the seafood chowder, or fish and chips. Their french fries are delicious. The broiled shrimp with rice is superb, in fact, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The desserts are yummy, if you have room after the generous portions. The cook and staff are 5 star, in fact, I give it a 5 star all around. Great
We started going to Olivia's when it first openned here in Gloucester and we still go there. I think the food is great and if they don't have exactly what you want on the menu, they will fix what you do want. I think the owners are very nice and always come by to check on us during our meal to make sure everything is okay. I've been eating at Olivia's at the Point for a few years and still rate their Hot Turkey Sandwich at lunch THE BEST!! Yummy! And the Lemon Chess Pie is the best around! Lots of parking, wonderful service, great location and great food! Can't beat that with their also super prices for seniors or families! [16 Aug 2007 14:21:31]
