Your basic Italian restaurant Fabio's redecorated over a year ago and improved its indoor seating area. However I normally do take-out. Their pizzas and calzones are pretty good, and normally only takes 10-15 minutes. Only problem: they only accept cash, no credit cards. [18 Dec 2006 12:33:37]

A Wonderful Surprise We found ourselves in *Small Town America* (Gordonsville, VA) for a few days. There were no bright lights, no major stores, no national/chain restaurants, so when we went looking for food we weren't expecting much. We wandered into Fabio's, a small pizza place, in the local (only?) strip mall hoping to find something that would make a passable dinner. What we found there was a lovely little surprise. It was a charming, friendly restaurant, and was tastefully decorated. Our waitress was quick, pleasant, and knowledgeable. The food we had was excellent, and compared well (both in taste and price) to Italian restaurants we've been to here in the D.C. area. What impressed us most about the restaurant was the steady stream of *regulars* that were eating there, and how well the staff (and owner) knew them... and their tastes. We're planning a trip to the area in the future, and will stop in again to try something else on the menu. ps... the ratings below do not accurately reflect our opinions. [24 Mar 2007 18:16:27]

Fabio's is best in town Fabio's is awesome - low prices for great food. Order the specials which are homemade. Any of the ravioli's are amazing. This restaurant is way better than the overrated French restaurant nearby called LaPomme. You're just paying for ambiance and presentation there, and usually leave there hungry. And my French Onion soup is way better. [07 Jun 2007 13:06:42]
