20 Years, Wher'd They Go We first went to Vancosta's in the early 80's. We live in Colorado now, and our former USAFA Cadet and his wife now go there. When people we know visit Hampton Roads, we give them the Vancosta's hotlink. Here's the secret: they focus like a laser on the quality of the FOOD. [08 Aug 2004 08:20:22]

THE BEST PIZZA ANYWHERE AROUND My family and I found Vancosta's when we moved here about 3 months ago. It is the best pizza around. They make a white pizza with feta that is "to die for" We get ours with tomatoes added. Do your self a favor an try this place out. You will not regret it. The service is great. It is a nice to go somewhere that remembers you. And makes you feel special. It is family owned and operated. Great People and Great Food. [01 Oct 2004 18:47:31]

One of the worst in Tidewater! After seeing Vancosta's getting such positive reviews on your site we took an excursion to Hampton to find this "hidden gem". Shame on your reviewers. Perhaps the owners wrote the positive reviews. WHAT A DISSAPOINTMENT!! While the waitress was friendly, and the atmosphere was homey, the "New York pizza" tasted like frozen pizza. The crust was not hand tossed - it tasted prefab. The sauce tasted at best like it was from a can. The cheese tasted like a slab of plastic. We had heartburn that night. Perhaps their Greek food is better but avoid Vancosta's if pizza is your desire. Overall Vancosta's pizza was one of the worst in the Tidewater Virginia area. [26 Nov 2006 11:17:50]

The original value meals Most dishes are good, a few are really good, and only don't order the chicken parm...other than that, the price is great and the owners good folks. [02 Nov 2007 18:46:58]
