A Martini Bar located inside/adjacent to the restaurant, Downtown 56. It has a the feel of an intimate upscale bar, and a much more cosmopolitan feel than most Harrisonburg restaurants. It caters to a more sophisticated crowd and does not attract much in the way of college students. There is a small stage with a nice piano and they have a variety of live music options, but it is never so loud that you cannot carry on a conversation. Martini's run about $10 a drink and are skillfully prepared. Although the appetizers are not cheap, they are plentiful, with interesting offerings such as crocodile bites. You can order from the menu at Downtown 56 or from the limited bar menu.
