A favorite for Mexican Not a fancy place, but offers really good food. Their homemade salsa is delicious. Its hard not to fill up on chips and salsa before your meal comes. Most dishes are delicious, although a few are made with a minced, spicy chicken, and I found this texture not to my liking. Overall, very good and very quick. This is a very popular local restaurant, so it does get pretty crowded during peak meal times. [31 Mar 2001 12:20:17]

One of our favorites We are loyal Tortilla Factory fans! Their salsa is fabulous, and every dish we've had has been absolutely wonderful. I enjoy their shredded spiced chicken filling, and my husband loves the machaca (a spicy shredded beef). We used to like Don Pablo's, but we haven't been there since discovering this place. It's the best we've had in a long time! [16 May 2003 12:58:47]

Big Place with the Locals Locals love this place. Locals in Virginia wouldn't know good Mexican if it hit them in the face. But it's a friendly place.
Nice place, bland food. [01 Aug 2003 09:58:17]

20+ years and counting I've been coming here since the early 80's and still find it a welcome oasis from the all national chains. An old hippie- type place, comfy and friendly, the food is good and consistent, the service always terrific, the owners frequently on site and always glad to see the regulars. [10 May 2004 22:33:05]

The BEST in the area, maybe on the east coast I've lived up and down the east coast and on the Great Lakes and tried every Mexican place I can find. Nothing comes close to the Tortill Factory. The receipes, the jallepeno dressing, all of it is simply the best. [18 May 2004 14:22:30]
