Now, that's What I Call Bad Service! My friends and I visited Clyde's of Reston for the first time and, not to mention, our last time. Unfortunately, our experience was full of disappointments.
We were seated at our table only to have to wait practically half an hour until our order was taken. When our food finally arrived we had no silverware to eat with.
Fifteen minutes later, we were finally able to eat, only to find out that our buffalo burger and a steak which were both ordered well-done were not rare, but totally RAW. I was quite embarassed to have suggested this restaurant to my friends who left hungry and upset. [11 Aug 2002 21:23:26]

Displaced by Host Went to lunch one time. The restaurant was pretty full. After we had sat for about 5 minutes, the host came to our table and had us move to another table. Turns out some VIPs were coming (I guess we weren't VIPs) and they needed that table. Turned out to be Joe Theismann and some blonde. Never went back. [01 Aug 2003 14:45:18]

Great Local Place Food is always good, service is always great. I am a regular at the bar and in the restaurant and always enjoy myself. The calamari is a favorite and I love the hot steak salad! You can never go wrong with Clyde's! [30 Dec 2003 00:40:02]

Clydes of Reston, Reston Town Center This is really a hit or miss restaurant. They seem to do better in summer than in winter. The menu changes every few days so one day you might see crab cakes and the next they are gone. [02 Jan 2006 06:49:34]

Been there frequently I've been going to Clydes of Reston for years now every few months. In fact, it's my father's favorite restaurant. I have found the service to be exceptional, with little or no problems ever. I think the varied fish specials are great (price and amount compared to other establishements). I am not so hot on their steaks or pastas. We always make a reservation (for 6) and get their before 6pm on weekdays to get the 20% early bird discount. Except for the occasional boring dish, we love the place. [27 Jun 2006 12:37:37]
