Nice place, has a outside patio that's great on those warm but nice summer days and nights. Food was excellent and though slightly pricey they give very generous portions so it was a good deal overall. Nice place to go for a pleasant meal with friends or family.    [12 May 2003 21:25:35]

Large Groups
We had a very large group in there on Sat night. I tried to call a week ahead of time for a reservation, but was told on the phone that they don't take them for large groups. When we got there and asked to sit outside, they said no we can't, the tables don't push together. We said that would be ok, we'll be all over the place and they still said no. Then our waiter told us we couldn't have separate checks, but at the very end when 23 people paid and the bill was still short of money, the waiter and manager came back out at which time the waiter said he told us at the beginning if we wanted separate checks, we should have told him. Not so. The little manager girl that night was extremely rude, she said Well if everyone got their food and everyone ate it, then there is nothing I can do. Thursday nights
I must say that I have never had a bad experience at Baja. A bunch of us go up there every Thursday. We get great service and the staff(bartenders) even know us by name. Which could we think is a good thing. Its nice to go somewhere,hang out and feel like your at home. I would totally recommend Baja for a fun hang out.    [30 Mar 2004 13:59:35]

This place SUCKS.
The food sucks. The service sucks. It has a patio though and apparently that's all a restaurant needs to have to be successful in Richmond. So go out and get yourself a patio, some food that is cold and bland and generally crappy and an apathetic college student or two to wait tables and you too can be a Richmond Restaurant Sucksess story.    [02 Apr 2004 14:38:56]
