Dinner on the James River
When arriving to the restaurant the view of the James River was very nice. We were greeted and seated in a room with a view of shimering water. I was suprised to find that you could drive by car or boat to this small but quant place, the atmosphere made you fill years past, when things were simpler. Now the food, I really don't know how to discribe it but . . .that it is just delious.    [02 Jul 2003 13:27:39]

gone now Bay Rest.
One of the hurricane's that blew through here took this wonderful place down, and indeed...all of the lower beach cottages, trailers that lined the front of this area. The orginial owner sold the property and the new owner was just getting ready to open it up, with some, if not all of the cottages redone.
