Cafe Rose (Rose Restaurant) I was sick and tired of eating Italian, Korean, etc. food. One day, I was taken to Cafe Rose in Falls Church, VA. I loved it. Fresh, warm and delicious food. I will go there again to eat fresh Kabob. I loved their Lamb Kabob. [20 Nov 2004 08:32:09]

Old World Service and great food As unassuming little joint with only about 6 or 7 tables, Cafe Rose is the real deal. The proprietor will seat you and really oozes hospitality. Nothing fake, he really is just a nice guy who wants you to feel at home.
Cooking just a few signature dishes, he can really focus on making each the best he can. All home prepared and served up with the best melange of spices that I have ever found in a bargain restaurant. [09 Jan 2005 16:40:55]

Our favorite restaurant in the DC area This truly is the best little restaurant in the DC area - the food is outrageously flavorful, and the hospitality is unbeatable. Osman treats you like family, and then feeds you delicious food that keeps you coming back again and again. My husband and I have eaten in hundreds of DC restaurants, and in restaurants all over the world - the Cafe Rose (Rose Restaurant) is our number one place to eat. [10 Apr 2006 18:03:01]

Rose has moved to Vienna My wife and I used to go to Cafe Rose in Falls Church for years. We were very dissapointed when it closed in late 2005 and were seeking the same kind of food but no luck. About a week ago, while driving in Downtown Vienna, I saw that Rose has opened back up again. So desprate to find out if it was the same Rose since the name had changed to Rose Restaurant, with out any hesitation I deceided to go inside. After asking Joey, the owner's son if it was the same same place that was once Falls Church's favorite Mom and pops place, I was very happy to find out that it was the same place with same great food. I ended up ordering Gourmet Sabzi as i always had been. This pirticular dish is a "must have" which includes chunks of beef and with Persian greens. It comes with a side of rice which is topped off with Saffron. Joey mentioned that Rose had been open at the new location since Sep of 06 and they have ben doing much better at the new location. I definetly recommend this Restaurant to anyone who wants to try something new. Joey was very polite and attentive and makes you feel right at home! [07 Mar 2007 18:13:47]
