Great Chinese This has good Singapore style dishes, and regular Chinese dishes are given a different twist. The Chinese restaurant where I'll always dine and can count on consistency. [31 Aug 2005 20:18:23]

Something happened This place was great until recently. They had the best dumplings in town to boot.
But something happened. I don't know if they switched cooks or what but my last couple orders have been inedible. Dishes I loved before now come sickly sweet or burnt to a crisp.
Even the dumplings are a shadow of their former glory.
This place is a "never again" for me. [16 Feb 2007 14:14:04]

Disappointed in Vienna, Vienna
great When I want chinese in the Madison HS area its here or china chef... obviously this is superior. The chinese dishes are fresh and the sauces are more palletable then most. What I mean is the sauces have unique ingredients like peanuts, orange, and the classics. The meat is quality, and the ingredients are advertised as organic. Awesome chinese for middle-of-the-line pricing. Eating in is also very pleasent and calm. Service is top-notch, much better than the diner Amphora. [03 Mar 2007 16:56:40]

Diners Beware! We have been looking for some good take-out chinese in the VIenna area and have found a few decent locations, but not anywhere great. We decided to give them a try and were not just disappointed but sick! We ordered the spring rolls, egg drop soup, lemon chicken, combination lo mein and seasme chicken. The lemon chicken was very thin, overcooked, and downright rubbery. The egg drop soup was edible, the spring rolls were good but really, really tiny, and the seasme chicken made both me and my husband sick at different times (when we ate the leftovers later the night we and the next day). When I say sick I do not mean just an upset tummy either! We actually never even ate the combination lo mein because we were scared too after the seasme chicken incidents! We were also overcharged for our items and when we asked to see an itemized bill or to have an explanation for why the bill was so high they were unable to give us one. I would recommend going anywhere else in Vienna, I highly doubt any other chinese place could be this wretched. [02 Feb 2008 22:59:37]
