Best Afghan Food in DC Yes, it's true they are not quick but it's not that the food takes a long time to be made. It's the owner, Assad. He's friendly and warm and personally, I feel gives you the feeling that he's there all for you. It's a wonderfull experience to eat there. We all know an experience takes time so come there to relax by slowing down and taking your time. Assad will have a great conversation with you. Then you'll eat the most delicious food you've ever tasted. This place is my favorite restaurant overall. I'm a filipino and caucasian mix and eat about everything out there so my opinion isn't bias toward afghan food as I have no connection to it other than this restaurant. Please eat there and wake up your taste buds for once. [19 Mar 2007 16:19:51]
