Watch out!!!!
This restaurant has the habit to run double the amount on your credit card. The service was poor. Not recommended.    [30 Apr 2002 09:28:13]

Sunflower is the best place EVER!
As a vegan, I'm thrilled to be able to order virtually anything on the menu and not have to worry or ask a million questions. So relaxing! And the menu is just stuffed with tasty options. Everything is wonderfully (and quickly!) prepared to order. Add broccoli here, extra spice there - they do it all with a smile. (Speaking of broccoli, this is the ONLY restaurant I've found that serves it so perfectly, lightly steamed: bright green and crunchy!) I agree that the menu is an interesting read - since going there, I've learned what burdock, jinenjo, and wolfberry are, and what they're good for (besides taste!). The staff is indeed a joy, every one of them; they make newcomers feel comfortable and they fawn over their regulars. Sunflower nourishes body and soul, and if I lived in    [06 Jun 2002 16:35:38]

Great food, fast service, so many choices of yummy things to eat. It takes me so long to decide!!! Even non-vegetarians love this place.    [06 Sep 2002 10:00:51]

They make me feel like an old friend
Outstanding, healthy cuisine. Very tasty. The seaweed salad is a bit exotic, but habit forming. There are plenty of delicious entrees for those new to the world of vegan dining such as the Sunflower Satisfaction and the General Tso platter. Very friendly atmosphere. It's refreshing to see so many enjoying delicious dining to improve their health and reduce the devestating effects of factory farming by going vegetarian.    [19 Apr 2004 12:48:36]

I am a Regular
I remember the first time I dined at Sunflower, there were so many options I did not know what to order. I decided on the Steak and Veggie Burger with couscous and lettuce salad...loved it!

Then I took home the Curry Surprise (curry tofu and vegetables with brown rice)

I eat at Sunflower at least twice a month....that is not more often because I live about 40 miles away.    [11 Jun 2004 18:16:15]
