Superb
The revival of the former restaurant with the same name and same owners in a new and spectacular location.

Terrific cuisine, way above the average at an value price. This is "Gourmet Chinese" at its best. Cozy atmosphere, and superb food preparation/presentation and service. A place to take your "best girl" or maybe the boss. Reasonable but not cheap.    [28 Jan 2005 11:49:39]

Authentic Asian/Chinese dining. Excellent food and service. Large menu selection including tapas, lunch, dinner and dim sum. Great takeout and dine in. Smoking and non-smoking sections amply separated. Large and beautiful bar area. Private dining rooms for small and large parties. Front entrance for bar/smoking section. Rear entrance for main (non-smoking) dining room. By far, the best Asian/Chinese dining in Hampton Roads.    [02 Feb 2005 12:49:08]

Excellent Food, Heavenly Dim Sum
We were delighted to find authentic dim sum here while on vacation. We have eaten dim sum in New York City, Philly, San Francisco and Vancouver and this place is definitely a competitor for places you will find in those cities (and beats many of them for quality and for the number of items). It was so good we came everyday during the week we were here and we left with one large and two small coolers filled with dim sum. If you have never eaten dim sum, you really must try it - in a superior restaurant like Forbidden Cit    [24 May 2005 18:31:44]

Every Bite-full is Delight-ful !
Best Chinese food in the whole state of Virginia and beyond. Wonderfully friendly, courteous and talented wait staff. Great atmosphere...reserve the cozy " Tree-House " for your special honey! Every dish is prepared to perfection by the excellent kitchen staff. Truly authentic and perfect presentation. I would not begin to think of eating Chinese anywhere but here when I'm in the Tidewater area.    [10 Sep 2007 21:30:00]
