What a fabulous adventure in dining!
My husband and I went to the Inn last night for our anniversary dinner. It was a Monday and reservations are easy to get during the week. The food was superb, the service was perfect and the decor was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed the delights of the chefs. We don't normally spend this much money on a dinner, but it was well worth it!    [21 Aug 2001 17:34:02]

Overrated But Delightful
My husband and I had dinner at the Inn for Thanksgiving. The ambiance is worth the visit. The food is small in portion and excellent, but I've had just as good for quite a lot less. I would recommend it as an experience worth having!    [28 Nov 2001 18:59:43]

Memorable Anniversary
What might seen like small portion sizes in the beginning turn out to be just the right amount. By the end of the meal we had had our fill.

The food I would rate as good to amazing. Some dishes (meat and potatoes) were not as flavorful as hoped. However the Figs and the Tuna masquerading as Filet are not to be missed!

The waiters were very attentive. Just glancing in their general direction brought one or more waiters to our table.

I would definitely recommend the Inn to a friend. We were treated quite wonderfully. We were celebrating our 1st year wedding anniversary and the Inn made it very memorable.    [21 Oct 2003 16:35:44]

Great Food
My husband and I spent New Years at the Inn at Little Washington. The food was fabulous the service just splendid. Everyone from the hat check girl to the host were just plain nice. We found the price to be outrageous with tip we spent over $600.00 on a fixed menu for two.

But we would do it again. Just once per year is all we can afford.    [08 Jan 2004 11:34:58]

Anniversary Dinner
My husband and I celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary here on Friday night. This restaurant is well worth the money and the drive. It was a real special treat. We asked to see the kitchen and it in itself is worth the trip. The food was out of this world. Go for once in a lifetime experience.    [01 Feb 2004 14:12:05]

Gracious Service
My boyfriend and I spent Saturday night at the Inn. The room was a delight, I did not want to come home. The service is impeccable, everywhere--from the moment you enter the lobby, the hostess, the tea service, the dinner, room service and especially in the dining room. You feel pampered and welcomed. Truly an experience you should feel in every hotel you stay in but do not. The food was wonderful even though the portions are small. It was a truly delightful experience.    [19 Jul 2004 12:40:00]

Nothing like it!!
My husband and I have been to the Inn 3 times and it is just not comparable to any other dining experience. The food is the most creative we have ever encountered, and the service is totally perfect. We have eaten at the Chef's table in the kitchen, which is an incredible experience. Our first dinner at the Chef's table, taster's menu & paired wines was $1000. We are far from wealthy and that is alot of money to us, but the first words we said after we finished were not "Oh my God, look how much we spent". They were "How soon can we come back?" We both agree that of all the places we've eaten The Inn at Little Washington is just in a class of it's own. I plan to continue trying wonderful restaurants but will be surprised if anything ever equals it.    [20 May 2007 17:34:06]
