If you're thinking of pizza, give Papa Petrone's a try. It's a carryout-only place, where you get your pizza "raw" and take it home to bake. The result is a fresh, piping-hot pizza. There are lots of toppings to choose from. Pizaa's not the only thing on the menu, either. There are also Italian pasta specialties. The pre-made packaged desserts are much better that one would expect -- I particularly love the sorbet-filled frozen fruits.

*If you go, try the Scramble Bread. It's a unique concept where small pieces of uncooked pizza dough are mixed with the pizza toppings of your choice. You bake it in your oven and the result is a gooey, mixed-up, delicious finger-food. (Messy, though -- perhaps civilized people use a fork. I wouldn't know...)

The twist here is the fine food is prepared but not cooked. You cook it at home. Gourmet pizza, ravioli and lasagna out of this world, and sauces. Desserts, too. How about baby spinach, gorgonzola cheese ravioli, or wild mushroom,or goat cheese? The pizzas are made to order while you wait, so freshness is never an issue. The pizza and scramble bread are superb! They are freshly made for you then you get to bring it home and fill your house with the wonderful scents of delicious food! Perfect Pizza
Where else can you get truly friendly (not mechanical) PERSONAL service from the owner and his small staff?

This isn't some "assembly" line pizza shop. You come in to this no-frills establishment (they put money into their product, not Noids, silly signs, or senseless window dressing). The shop is clean, and it looks like a carry-out pizza shop where you can see the fresh ingredients.

Since I've been to the perfect pizza place, I haven't ordered ANY delivery pizza. Just take it home and pop it in the oven. BEST PIZZA AND BREADSTICKS I'VE EVER HAD!

Great selection of desserts, with stuff you'd find in Europe or top-notch NY pizzerias. My friend found a dessert ("Bomba") he used to get in Germany when he was a kid...and hasn't seen or tasted any other place in the 20 years he's been away from home.

Everything here is FRESH and just about everything Papa does is HOMEMADE with quality ingredients!!!

The pizza is spun out right in front of you and you choose what you want on the pie- sooo yummy- it makes you wonder why you've sucked down the gross chain pizza's for so long. Papa makes the best lasagna, pasta, sauces and ravioli- this stuff is nothing like you would get at the super market. The scramble bread is the best thing, once you have it you become addicted. It is dough, garlic cheese and as many toppings as you can handle- this is a must try item.

The coolest thing about this place is that you get a home cooked meal with out all the prep and time it takes to make it yourself. If you are having guests or wondering what to feed the family, then go to Papa Petrone’s. Papa and his staff are so wonderful- they’ll work with you to help you pick out what would be best to serve at your party or recommend a great family meal.

There is so much more to talk about like the white pizza, the breads, the bread sticks, the desserts, the eggplant parmesan, the manicotti, etc. the list goes on and on but it is one of those places that you have to experience for yourself. Great Food
Papa Petrone's Take N Bake has the best food.

The pizza is great -- they have amazing quality of ingredients, which makes them taste awesome.

When I first had his ravioli I couldn't eat grocery store bought ravioli. His tastes so good it is the only ravioli worth eating.

The lasagna is great. Its really thick, delicious and feeds plenty.
