Good Luck Getting Your Food
I have never in my life taken the time to write a bad review on anyone or any place but my experience at LuLu's this past Tuesday was horrific.

The owner, Hans, was yelling at his waitstaff from the kitchen the whole time we were there. Our service was terrible but we were willing to look past that as long as our food would come out from the kitchen and was good. On the menu it said fresh haddock sandwich so I ordered it knowing that it wasn't going to be Mrs. Paul's, but sure enough, it was two freezer burnt fish sticks on a bun. I tried to send it back, but I heard Hans yell at my waitress from the kitchen that it was fresh and that he would not take it off my bill.

My boyfriend actually liked his sandwich, but with all of the other stuff going on, he couldn't enjoy it. Needless to say, I paid half price for a meal I couldn't eat just to get us out of the establishment and hear Hans yelling all the time. Other customers were looking around for service and complaining as well, so it wasn't just us. I worked in the service industry for 15 years and have never experienced such a mean boss! He is a horrible businessman and can't admit that he lies on his menu.    [13 Oct 2004 14:35:13]

Wonderful
I have eaten here many times (close to 30), and have never had a bad meal, or heard of anyone who has. The service is always fast (and I would know this as a waitress of over 30 years in a well known restaurant), wonderful, the boss Hans is a great man who treats his staff extremely well. The food is fresh and has always tasted wonderful. I have never had one problem in LuLus and would recommend anyone to sit down and have a meal there. Also to note: people travel from miles away for the food here (as I have talked to many), and even an occasional well known (famous) person stops by.    [23 Sep 2005 15:11:45]

Not Mexican at All
The food was bland and tasteless. However the portions were huge. I lived in California and throughout the Southwest where the Mexican food is authentic. This was a cheap knock-off.
