Fingerman's is a new (Summer 2004) BBQ restaurant located at the corner of Barre St and River St. It is tucked behind the Starwash and Honda Unlimited.
The food is excellent and I haven't heard anybody say anything but good things about this place. The last time I was there the menu was rather small and so far that is my only complaint. As they ramp up the business I would like to see more entrées being offered. What they do offer is most excellent though. The portions are on the large side but they are not so large as to be overwhelming. []

Finkerman's Consistently Great I have eaten at Finkerman's at least 10 times since the restaurant opened. It is always wonderful. Tonight's corn on the cob (available only in season) tasted like it was cooked shortly after being picked. The staff is attentive, as one would expect, since Finkerman's is part of a family of area restaurants that includes Ariel's Restaurant & Pond Village Pub adjacent the Floating Bridge in Brookfield. Ariel's is known by many in Washington and Orange Counties as our very best restaurant, so the quality of Finkerman's is not a surprise.
It is a family restaurant and one often hears children doing their thing in the dining rooms. If child generated noise bothers you, I suggest eating between lunch and dinner or after 8 pm. Those who do that also have a better chance at a parking space near the door if that is important. Finkerman's is popular at mealtimes. [01 Sep 2004 21:00:05]

Awesome Place Finkerman's is the best place to eat anywhere around here. Great food, great service, plenty to eat, and booze if you want it. [30 Oct 2004 18:41:59]
