Quaint Country cooking My family and I have not found a dish we don't like yet. It is food you would expect from a higher priced venue. The Coconut Cream Pie is to die for! [08 Oct 2006 12:06:01]

Unhappy with menu item My wife and I had lunch at Eaglecrest for the first time on Friday April 6th. I had the Waist Watcher Ground Sirloin and was very happy with my choice, and felt the meal was well worth the price. My wife however, chose the Cod Fillet lunch and was very dissatisfied. The portion of cod was very small, like it was the last piece left in the kitchen. She asked for vegetables in place of a potato, and she received a bowl of green beans. She also questioned whether she was to receive a salad with the meal, and the waitress said it didn't come with a salad. So, she had this large plate with a small piece of cod, a bowl of green beans, a lettuce garnish with a slice of orange, for $8.95. We actually looked at each other and laughed when the waitress sat it down. When we left, we checked the menu and saw that it did indeed come with a salad. This was our first experience at this restaurant, and because of this, we might not have a second. [08 Apr 2007 12:08:14]

Good Riddance Stopped in for a business lunch, left with Stomach pains. The manager, or owner? (TIM) did nothing to improve my dissatisfaction with my meal, he went as far to request that I went somewhere else next time. That I will. This place wont stay open for long, Denny's would be a step up. [03 May 2007 20:47:51]

My Waitress Made My Meal Worthwhile Had lunch at Eagle Crest the other day. It was a alright. I had the hot turkey sandwich that was mediocre. However, the highpoint of my visit was the wait staff. My waitress was a -- I must say beautiful -- red headed woman with the demeanor of an angel. She had a great spirit and delivered my food with a smile even though she had to listen to what I assume was her boss being quite pushy and rude with her. [13 Jul 2007 16:22:54]

Worst Thanksgiving Dinner Ever! I was expecting "Real" turkey, and was very disappointed. The entire meal was processed, or from a can. I could have saved my money, and eaten a Banquet TV dinner, and enjoyed it just as much. Service was awful. I ordered coffee....never did get it. I asked for extra dressing for my salad....didn't get that either. I reserved the table next to the fireplace 2 months ago. I got a table in the back room, which was ok, since the fireplace wasn't lit anyway. Overall: We wont be back! [23 Nov 2007 12:57:54]
