Terrible General Manager with bad customer service skills
Last month we had a good experience, BUT this morning's experience was completely different. We were not able to order egg whites (which any all-day-breakfast place will normally serve). And as a person with hereditary high cholesterol, it is important for me to stay healthy and limit my cholesterol consumption. There was apparently another similar complaint about egg whites/egg beaters this morning where another lady wanted the same thing as I did and left quite upset over the ordeal. The waitress said that the owner refused to serve egg whites anymore (last month I was able to order them).

ALSO, our request for dry toast was greasy buttery, the salad we ordered without tomatoes came with big slices of tomatoes, the SMALL salad which we requested twice was served as a LARGE salad and then charged as a large one to us.

When we complained about the LARGE salad on our bill, the General Manager (BECKY) had to get involved. She asked us why we didn’t bring up the large/small salad issue earlier and we simply explained that it was the first time we have seen this particular salad here and that we would not be able to tell the difference ourselves.

BECKY was a very rude general manager as she continued to battle us on every little detail and never once did she offer an apology for any of the issues we experienced. In fact, she literally said “…. then don’t come back”. We were shocked of course.

When we asked for the owner’s name, the general manager sped through the name “BILL POLIMENAKOS”. When we asked for the phone number to reach the owner, she spouted out the total of our bill: $28.64. Huh – what kind of phone number was that?

We won’t be going back – not even if we were paid to.    [25 May 2008 17:49:30]

Excellent Food and Service!!!
I have been a patron of the Crossroads Restaurant for almost a year. I have always received excellent service and high quality food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Crossroads serves a variety of delicious benedicts on the weekends and has other great daily specials! My personal favorites include the California Omelet, the Florentine and Seafood Benedict and the Chicken Fried Steak... the fresh fruit crepes are good too. For lunch the Turkey Club, Greek Salad, Tuna Avocado or Taco Salad are delicious. For dinner the Ribs, Seafood Fettuccini (available when on special only), Baked Lasagna, Chicken Piccata or Parmesan are excellent as well. You won't be disappointed!    [07 Sep 2008 00:49:38]

I would first like to introduce myself, my name is Erin and I am the new Manager here at Crossroads. I just finished reading your review on the the experience you had at our place. I am very sorry to hear you had such a bad experience. I would personally like to apologize on behalf of our store and ask that you might reconsider trying us again. As with any new place that opens there are a few bumps along the way that need working out, and my first mission is to read all the reviews and try to change what may have gone wrong. As far as the owner not having an egg-white option or even egg beaters I am unclear, but will talk to him and find out his reasoning behind this. Again I am truly sorry for your experience and hope you will reconsider visiting us again.
