Reasonably good breakfast spot We tried it out for Sunday brunch and found it a worthwhile dining experience, enough that we'll likely return. Waitress was professional and kindly made a substitution on my wife's order at her request. The pancakes were quite good -- worthy of a restaurant with "pancake" in its name, much better than the typical breakfast chains. As with most pancake-oriented places, they could benefit from offering smaller portions; I ordered the Silver Dollar cakes and while they were very good, they were a bit larger than expected, and there were 10 of them; a half-order would've been plenty, and that option would be appreciated.
Also very tasty country sausage. My wife enjoyed her berry-laden French toast. Ambiance is nothing special but nice and clean, with friendly clientèle and servers.
There's plenty else on the menu besides pancakes, by the way, if you're looking for broader breakfast options. All your basic egg-type options, plus waffles and such. Enough variety that we'll most likely return and try something else next time... [05 Mar 2007 03:23:30]

My uncle's favorite place I've been to the Pancake House too many times to count - it's my uncle's favorite place so we go there every time we're in Bremerton. The service is great, the food even better, the coffee is okay but not bad and the atmosphere is nice. Only problem is that you have to avoid it after church on Sundays (as with any similar establishment) unless you love crowds and noise.
I have never had anything I didn't enjoy there, but my favorites are the dishes with fruit on them as the fruit seems to be fresh. The Swedish Pancakes with ligonberries mixed in with the butter is amazing and the portions are perfect - not as big as the other pancake dishes. [18 Jan 2008 17:25:26]
