Good memories
We had kind of an amazing experience there a couple years ago. We were honeymooning at a B&B in Burien that recommended Angelo's for dinner. We decided to give it a try, and over dinner (which was very good), we were talking about our memories of the wedding the day before.

An older couple sitting in a booth adjacent to ours apparently overheard our conversation and, unbeknownst to us, told the waitress that they would pay for our dinner. We didn't find out until after they'd already left; I guess they preferred to remain anonymous. They had told the waitress just to let us know that they were very happy for us and that they hoped things turned out as well for us as it had for them the past 25 years.

Needless to say we were quite touched by such a display of generosity and good wishes. I know this isn't really a critique of the restaurant, but maybe that story speaks in some way toward the character of the clientele and ownership of the establishment.

The food was excellent and we hope to go back there again someday, to look back fondly on that night....and perhaps do the same for some other young couple that might be sitting in the booth across from us.    [05 Mar 2007 03:54:06]
