Waste of money!
We ended up going to this place expecting to savor on delicious food similar to the one served in Kabul ( the fantastic restaurant in Seattle). And boy we were in for a BIG disappointment! First and foremost the whole place was empty!...That in itself should have warned us...Anyway we were starving hungry and decided to go ahead with it...Being familiar with the Afghani dishes. I was ready with my order but surprise! The waiter was super busy on the phone. Initially I was fine with it thinking that it must be a customer on the phone ..soon realized that he was carrying on a lengthy personal conversation! Finally he arrives and takes our order. Disaster part 2 - The appetizer ( Quruti) is pathetic! Stale bread + Yogurt on top!
We were like ok may be the entrees would be better...My entree was SUCH a disappointment!!! It was the tarkari which I have eaten in Kabul and it was NOTHING like that! All in all, I think this place needs a new chef,new waiters and above all a management that cares to provide the best to their customers!    [10 Oct 2007 22:48:45]
