Hearty lunches
This unassuming place in the QFC strip mall is a gem. I was not inclined to try it, as it is all vegetarian ... and I've found many veggie restaurants to have bland, unimaginative food. (My wife is veg, so fairness rules ... she's willing to eat salad at my favorite steak house.)

Their lunch buffet is a good value, with many choices/spices/textures. The waitstaff is quick and helpful. We've probably tried half the entrees on the dinner menu, and have been satisfied with all. The only thing I would improve is the beer selection: in the land of fine NW microbrews, they only offer the bland Indian lagers, not even Haywood 500, a flavorful Indian beer.    [17 Nov 2006 23:19:18]
