Great food, excellent service Food was outstanding. Friendly and fun service. Great ambiance. I would recommend it for a date night or fun with family and friends. [01 Oct 2003 16:03:55]

Absolute worst service! The first time I went to the Iris Grill, I had a very pleasant experience and the dinner was wonderful. The second time I went for lunch time and I had brought two people with me that had never been to The Iris Grill before. Boy, that was a mistake! That will definitely be our last time there. First of all, the manager sat us and he had the worst attitude possible, was not gracious and never smiled once. Secondly, it took about 20 minutes for waiter to actually take our order. He actually took the order of the people who came in after us and still ignored us when he was done. I had to go up to him and ask how long we had to site before our order was taken. He finally came over. Can you believe it doesn't end there? To top it off, after they served my food I noticed that there were some little tiny bugs on my leaves of lettuce. Now that really turned me off. It appears as if the they didn't even wash my lettuce and it was old and wilted. I left the lettuce on a side dish and told the manager about it when he was collecting out plates. His response to it was basically "oh really" and he said nothing else. He didn't do anything about it! Now, what kind of service is that. Also, one of the people that I was sitting with had a large piece of onion skin in hiw sandwich and his sandwich dosn't even have onions in it.
When I got back to office, I was determined to tell people about my situation and they vowed never to go there. Beware of the service at this restaurant, it was just unbelievablely terrible. [26 Mar 2004 16:41:20]

Culinary Gem The new chefs at the Iris Grill are out of this world! It is such and excellent surprise to find this on the eastside. I recommend it to everyone I meet! Really, Try it!
Oh, and my friend is a vegan, and the chefs created a whole 3 course menu just for her! they even asked what she liked best and incorporated it into her meal! [08 Jan 2006 23:22:04]
