Yummy Breakfasts at Maggie's! I often have breakfast meetings at Maggie's and they not only have great service, but their food is outstanding, always hot and fresh! [18 Nov 2007 20:26:57]

Great breakfast at Maggie's I've often passed by this cafe and it's always crowded, usually a good sign. So we tried it and it was great. Friendly and personable service, along with a good menu. [11 Feb 2008 10:50:55]

Breakfast lover
Will Never Return A lot of friends have recommended Maggie's as a great place for breakfast. We usually go to Sara's but walk past on the way home. Saturday we decided to try Maggie's. The place was crowded as usual. No big deal. We didn't know if we should seat ourselves so we stood there for a while. When we were seated we saw some really good friends of ours that recommended the place. They told the waitress, Jo, to take care of us as they are good friends. When Jo came over to our table the first words out of her mouth were "how do you know ***? - I'm sorry you know them." She then proceeded to go on further about our friends saying "He used to come in her before with his ex wife, she was a lot better than this one." My husband and I just looked at each other and couldn't believe what we heard. Strike one. We waited well over 45 minutes for our food. Strike two. When it arrived it was hot but not done. My husband's eggs were totally undercooked so that he could not eat them, the hash browns we had tasted freezer burned. I ordered Maggie's mess as I have been having a craving for hashbrowns and gravy. When I received it, I could tell I should have ordered each separately for the price. The hashbrowns were not very good and I was wondering what happened to the real potatoes they used to use when it was Mom's. The sausage was similar to turkey kilbasa instead of sausage patty. Jo did not return until we were almost finished trying to get what food we could down. I told her my husband's was not fine, she then stuck her finger in his eggs! Strike three. To say the least, it was one of the worst experiences I have had at a restaurant. I have lived in Kent since 1994 and try to support the local businesses. Needless to say we will not recommend this place and will not return. [23 Mar 2009 12:46:06]
