The Best Place To Eat In Kitsap County
This place is GREAT. It gets crowded on Friday and Saturday so come early or late (no reservations on these nights). Background music on most nights. The Prime Rib is my favorite but the fish lovers will like the fresh halibut when available. The salmon is always fresh. Dinners will run $15 to $20 plus drinks and tip. Lunch is great too, $5 to $10.    [18 Nov 2000 19:32:05]

Best Damn Steakhouse I've Been To
I cannot believe how awesome this place is! By far, this is the best place for fresh fried halibut or Barbecue ribs. Wonderful! And it's not like you just sit there and eat and socialize, you have so much fun there! With all of the music, and the laughter, and wonderful smells of the kitchen, this is by far the best place to take a spouse or family members.    [25 Jun 2002 22:52:44]

This Place Rocks!!
I had the porterhouse. One of the best steaks I have ever eaten. Great relaxed, funky atmosphere. Great place to take anyone for any reason    [13 Aug 2003 13:43:21]

Ambience and top foods
This place has it all except reservations. You gotta go early to get a place to sit. The atmosphere is old tavern, with pine wood furniture, all kinds of animal heads and collectibles, wonderful piano bar and, IMHO, the best food in the area. I have to say that I have never been disappointed by anything I have ordered at either lunch or dinner. Even the burgers are well presented.    [23 Dec 2003 14:30:52]

Reasonably good food, great people
Don't expect any Michelin stars to be awarded here. The food is on the good side of average. The steaks and the burgers excel but most other dishes are not very successful attempts at upscaling standards. Probably most importantly the atmosphere is great; the service is laced with a good will and gracious spirit and the regular bar tender will pour a respectably stiff drink. Characters abound and the music is always fun.    [25 May 2004 23:21:32]

I eat there frequently
It has the atmosphere of an old tavern, because it IS an old tavern, for many years it was the Torpedo Tavern (Keyport's nick name is Torpedo Town USA).

I tend to try to get in and out before the live musicians start performing, it makes talking almost impossible. Unless the weather is good and you use the outdoor area.    [27 Dec 2004 21:37:08]

Too expensive for the quality...or lack thereof
Frankly, I had the worst $23 steak of my life at whiskey creek tonight. First of all, $23 for a 12 oz steak and a sad attempt at a side of mashed potatoes is just ridiculous, then apparently, they think that "medium" means "still mooing." The steak was rubbery and bland. Honestly, I could have gotten a better steak at Applebee's for $12. Come to think of it, I could have made a better steak at home for like $3. Nice rustic feel to the place, but for what everyone has told me was "the greatest steakhouse in Kitsap county" I was incredibly disappointed.    [03 Feb 2006 01:08:23]

Fantastic Eatery
Upon reading the last review, our group was hesitant to visit Whiskey Creek. We were all very glad that we had put so little stock in this disgruntled customer's review. The place is great. The food was phenomenal, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was comfortable. It was a great dining experience and well worth the reasonable prices for such high quality.    [04 Feb 2006 00:56:05]

OVER PRICED
I've been a customer for years as I live near by. The quality has gone down the last few years though the prices continue to soar. You can't get out of there under 60$. I rarely go anymore. To bad such a place has owners that finds profit is more important.
Not worth going to in the summer. Its gets very very hot inside.    [04 Oct 2006 19:26:39]
