Outstanding!
We had a long wait...but, it was worth the wait. I had the best ahi tuna I have ever eaten. My husband had a wonderful salmon dish. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was great.
We live in the LA area. We will definitely eat at Foghorn's if we are ever in the Kirkland area again.    [02 Aug 2003 21:05:26]

Hands Down The Best Fish I Have Ever Tasted
I ordered the Ahi Tuna just yesterday for lunch...I was a bit afraid that an overcooked chunk of tuna would be delivered to the table, but instead I found myself submerged in a melody of flavors that I can hardly describe. The sweet soba noodles were coupled with the wasabi's spicy flavor and the fresh ahi tuna was seared ever so slightly...it melted in my mouth. Throw in fresh sauteed mushrooms and you begin to see why this was the best meal I've had all year! My wife ordered the prime rib dip and it was delicious as well. Excellent!
The atmosphere is very cozy & romantic with the lake & the fireplace & some tall booths if you choose. And the food! I have never had anything I didn't like...actually the desserts aren't amazing. I will not return.
Of all the great things I heard about this place, I had to check it out. Went there with my inlaws for dinner tonight and was greeted right away. Seated and brought out drinks and appetizers. After that, nothing. For the price I'm paying for the food there, I expect to have some what good service. I had to ask for the bread, recieved 4 slices for our party of 6 and the couple next to us gets half of a loaf? Were they better dressed? We had to ask for refills on or drinks twice. After taking our orders, the server never came back to check up on us until the food was brought out, that was 45 minutes later. I get treated better at Denny's than this place. Maybe it was a new hired server that was incredibly slow. The manager didn't seem to be very understanding when I told him that we had to ask for water twice. Not even an apology. Wow!
I went to Foghorn for the first time last month and got an amazing meal. Does crab-stuffed-steak sound good, anyone? WOW! I've already recommended the place to friends. The receptionist guy was a little surly (must have had a bad day), but everyone else was so great.    [16 Aug 2004 13:19:58]
