Closing Time 9/17
Kidd Valley closes at 9PM. However, we arrived at 8:10PM and it looked like it was closing! We went in and ordered. The table section was closed off with a broom and wet floor sign. We ordered. The order taker was indifferent. The cook industriously went to work. The other employee kept cleaning and argued with the order taker. Items from outside were carried past me with no excusing themselves. They swept around my very feet while I was seated on bench and waiting. So when food was ready I said I wanted the name and address of owner so I could comment on service and "closing before closing time". The order taker became very argumentative. Cook came out and was sympathetic to my cause. Other employee was trying to justify why they clean before closing and close up seating. So weird! Food was good. Eventually I received a $25 apology certificate. But, it just was a horrible experience.    [19 Sep 2000 02:17:20]
