The food was outstanding
We stopped here for lunch during our tour of Leavenworth. The waitress was quite friendly and very knowledgeable about Leavenworth's History, as we had some questions for a school assignment we had asked her. Great place to kick back
We make Gustav's a standard stop on our annual visit to Leavenworth. The large selection of beer is wonderful. We go to kick back, relax and enjoy the scenery and watch the people.    [08 Jul 2005 23:47:43]

Wonderful Food
My family goes to Leavenworth once a year, usually at Christmas time. We always stay at the Enzian and we always eat at least once at Gustav's! Fantastic food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    [24 Jan 2006 09:03:34]

Best Place In Leavenworth!

Always Yummy
We have eaten at Gustav's at least three times during our annual trips to Leavenworth. It is a cozy place to eat and relax. The service is always good and the food usually comes out really fast. I have always enjoyed my meals.    [22 Jan 2007 20:12:18]

Great food, but TOO EXPENSIVE!
Gustav's is probably the largest restaurant in the area. The interior is well done and the staff is very professional. I've dined there in the past and have always enjoyed it.

This time around, I had a burger and fries. The burger was about $10 and that did not come with the fries. We paid just over $3 to share a side of French fries between the two of us. The fries were clearly fresh cut and I did appreciate their quality.

If you go to the Gustav's website, the prices listed are NOT up-to-date. My hamburger was very tasty, but it just wasn't worth $10 sans fries. I'm not sure I'd go back to Gustav's in future trips to Leavenworth because of the inflated prices. It just isn't a fancy enough restaurant to have hiked up prices like that.    [02 Sep 2007 21:38:05]
