Very 'European' service - rude! Mr. Cranky and his two inept helpers. We ordered ONE crepe and waited for nearly 15 minutes!! It DOES NOT take 15 minutes to make one crepe! [07 Aug 2004 01:34:33]

Nice combination of flavours We ate at Pavz durring the winter and had friendly service. The food tasted good and there was a nice selection of unique European beers. If you want a light lunch the price is good. If you are really hungry and want three courses the price gets a little steep. [16 Aug 2004 15:48:37]

MMmmmmmmm Great for breakfast or lunch. Very good coffee and deserts as well. The staff are all friendly and helpful, if not a bit overwhelmed by tourists from time to time. It's Leavenworth, it happens. [24 Jan 2005 19:35:27]

A wonderful surprise! We ate at Pavz with a toddler and an elderly grandmother - both can be a handful! The staff were gracious and the service was was quick and professional. They overlooked both the elder and younger's misbehaviors. Most of all, the food was incredibly, wonderfully delicious! We all ended up tasting each other's plates, as we couldn't believe how good it all was. The toddler got the strawberry crepe. It was such a generous portion of food (came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream too) that the rest of us had to help finish it off. The service was fast, the food was great and the ambiance was also so relaxing. We'd go back every weekend for their service and food, if we didn't have to travel 3 hours to get there! Great food and service On the two occasions we have dined there. PAVY has been excellent. This is gourmet food for a very reasonable price. [02 Jun 2005 19:58:02]

I can't stop eating crepes! I have eaten the crepes at Pavz and now cannot bring myself to eat anywhere else in Leavenworth. The portabello mushroom crepe is divine and addicting. The service was fast, polite, and there are generous portions. [10 Aug 2005 16:49:29]

Amazing. Me, my mom and my sister ate at PAVS when we went to leavenworth for a girls weekend this last summer. It was the best food I have had in a while. The crepes were absolutely delicious and the salads were wonderful as well. Definately recommend eating here. Delectable french cusine. [17 Dec 2005 23:43:08]

Grumpy Staff Grumpy pants the rude waitress could not have made the place less inviting. I felt I was putting them out through my entire meal. I waited for 10 minutes for a glass of water while the waitress picked at her nails and gabbed with friends. Mediocre crepes; I've had better. [23 May 2006 21:03:55]

Outstanding Our family (mom, dad and a 7yr old daughter) ate dinner at Pavz on our last night of three in Leavenworth. That's too bad because if we ate there the first night we definitely would have gone back for a second. My wife had the nightly special--a wild local salmon that was delicious and my shrimp dish was outstanding. Our daughter ate her whole crepe, an amazing sight as she is a finicky eater who regularly only has a couple of bites of whatever we get her. The service was great and the bottle of recommended local wine was superb for the price. Pavz is definitely one of the better restaurants in town. [22 Jul 2006 22:11:31]

Didn't even make it that far--phone response was mean I called to make sure that Pavs uses fresh eggs in their crepes as a) crepes are made with lots of eggs and b) if they use the jugs of mixed eggs that restaurants often do, I have an EXTREMELY VIOLENT gastrointestinal reaction. If I eat a crepe made with a purchased egg mix, it is a BAD BAD thing.
The woman who answered the phone was irritable and didn't know the answer. Rather than GET the answer, she handed the phone to the chef, who barked out that he was very busy, interrupted me before I could really ask the question, didn't understand the question once it was asked, then hung up on me after I started to repeat it (granted, by then, I was pretty frustrated--the consequences of those premixed eggs are pretty dire and I wasn't calling just to bother him).
When I tried to call back, they refused to answer the phone.
Perhaps their food is great. How will I ever know? I don't dare risk it, and I don't think I want to risk that this is the same attitude they bring to their service.
Good luck! [14 Oct 2006 17:08:02]
