What eez eet?!? Cheeky, unapologetic, down home, made-from-scratch American grub.
The PIE is insane.
Never had a baconcake? Too bad, so sad!
They could add some more vegetarian/vegan options for the hippies, but meat-eaters need never stray. Tuesdays feature a 2 hour all-u-can-eat deluxe cheeseburger extravaganza for $9.95!. And these burgers are fur real, right. Local, all-natural, and whatnot.
You can tell that the folks care about their spot.
They have a waitress who's been there 45 freaking years!!! Whut?!? Verna's her name, and layin down the grub's her game. That and Bingo.
I don't even have time or energy to begin to describe the lounge in back that you access via the alley (where else?). Suffice to say, it's the only 6am happy hour in town. Nuff said.
The Reef, or the Grief as it's somewhat affectionately called, is a force of nature. [04 Feb 2007 00:30:15]

Second Home. When I go out drinking I always make sure to start somewhere else because once I get to the Reef I really don't see any point in leaving. It looks like it was shipped in complete from your grandfathers basement. I hear good things about the restaurant but haven't sat in there in a year. [23 Jul 2007 13:39:59]
