Waterstreet Cafe + Bar is located in Olympia's historic American Legion Building, directly across the street from Capitol Lake. The main dining room and the open-air patio offer views of the lake, Heritage Park, and the State Capitol.

Waterstreet's cuisine is best described as contemporary American. Dishes range from savory soups, salads, sandwiches, and pizzas to delicious, carefully composed entrees that make use of fresh, regional ingredients such as salmon, sturgeon, and wild mushrooms. Both the lunch and dinner menus include specials that change daily and reflect seasonally available fruits, vegetables, and fish.

Waterstreet's wine list is extensive, with more than 125 selections from Washington State and other major wine-producing regions of the world. Waterstreet's wine list was recently awarded Wine Spectator magazine's 2006 Award of Excellence. More than 30 of these wines are available by the glass or ounce.

Waterstreet is an excellent venue for any type of gathering: a casual gathering of friends, a working lunch, a professional meeting, or a special celebration. Groups of up to 80 guests can be accomodated in the Wine Cellar; smaller private rooms also are available.
