Bad service I have always found this restaurant to lack in the area of customer service. The staff seem to be content with letting hot food sit on the counter, ignoring guests, and making people feel like they are unwelcome. After a few attempts at this restaurant I have come to the conclusion that yes, you may be able to order food, but forget it being accompanied with any level of customer service. Processed food This establishment has failed each of the three times we have been customers. Their food is not fresh and their staff is not attentive or interested in service to the customer. We tried to give them three chances, and we went away unsatisfied each time. We will not be back. [30 Jun 2004 21:23:24]

Always a great visit I have been to this restaurant about 6 times and every time I go there the service has been really good. The Hostess greets you in a timely fashion and we are always greeted with a smile. We are given enough time to decide what we want and our orders are always hot when we get them. I have unfortunately burned the roof on my mouth more than once because of this. I hope to go there again real soon! [24 Nov 2004 20:05:57]

I liked it I've always had an enjoyable time there. The bar staff in the rear of the restaurant made an effort to remember my drinks after only two visits. Always friendly. The clientèle were the only negative aspects of my visits. Stay away from the meatloaf. Everything else was very good. [22 Jan 2005 03:37:19]

Cold food every time We have eaten here 3 times and finally gave up. The food was OK that is IF you could get it. The wait staff ignores the customers and by the time the food arrives it is cold. There is nothing worse than cold french fries! On the one occasion that our food did arrive hot it was tasty. If you like to be ignored then go here and eat. I personally like a little service when I go out. I am not asking for much, just that someone brings my food to me when it is still hot and after the meal is over not having to beg for 30 minutes for the check. [14 Apr 2007 18:16:03]

Bad, Expensive Food We have been here several times, mostly indiscriminate service and food. This time, ordered New York Steak, which wasn't anywhere near like a New York Steak, and Halibut and Chips which was NOT Halibut, very thin strip of some kind of fish covered with huge amount of batter, chips OK, Caesar Salad OK. My daughter ordered Prime Rib, Medium, it was almost raw, she should have sent it back. When I complained about meal at Cash out, not a bit of interest or concern. [14 Oct 2007 14:10:42]

RED HAT Outing a bust We held our annual RED HAT Christmas party at the Clubhouse Grill last December 2006. We had 18 members in attendance; I called prior to make a reservation give an estimate about the number of member who might attend. I called a couple days before the party to let the restaurant know how many members would be in attendance so they wouldn't be short handed. (This was a request they made that I honored.)
The evening of the event here were numerous complaints from our members (who normally do NOT complain) - my sister's meal was burnt black & cold she ordered regular deep fried fish & chips not Cajun fish. My meal of chicken was also cold. Several members had to send their meals back because it wasn't what they ordered. The restaurant assigned one waitress to the group - once the meal was served she did not come back to the table except to bring members their bill to which she added what she thought we should tip (more than 20%) as part of the total. Our members normally tip much higher than the normal especially for good service. The waitress ignored numerous requests for beverage refills, napkins and flatware.
I would not recommend this restaurant. My members have made it clear they do not want to patronize the restaurant ever again.

In NOV 2006 I did attend a retirement party in the bar, service & food in that area were reasonably adequate at the time of the party. [15 Oct 2007 21:46:10]
