Excellent fresh made foods! I love this deli in the corner, hiding next to Starbucks. (EDITOR NOTE: They have now moved across the street) They have the best cheese and imported meats. They also have gourmet items that are hard to find closer than Seattle. They started serving dinners this Summer! WOW! Everything is fresh and prepared from scratch. Such a treat! I hope they get a bigger place soon! [21 Aug 2003 22:14:10]

Love this little deli Love this little deli. Great for lunch, call ahead if you are in a hurry and want to take out, the line is often out the door, but well worth the wait. Friendly folks in a community atmosphere. [28 Oct 2003 02:44:24]

The best lunch in P.O. While it's too small, and a bit expensive, the food is great. They're building a new restaurant across the street, which will be welcome. [12 Oct 2005 15:53:22]

Delightful but slow! We had lunch here and found the food to be almost as good as when they were across the street however, they seemed overwhelmed when it comes to service. Plus, their small parking lot was filled to capacity while the restaurant was only 3/4 full.
My wife's panini was much better than my classic grinder but only because they seemed to pile it higher with the goodies. The soup had lots of vegetables, beans etc. in it but was a bit bland to my taste. The salad was crisp and fresh with toppings galore!
Service was almost non existent. The young girl that was working seemed to only be able to bring one thing at a time out of the kitchen so nothing came out right away. It took a little over ten minutes after we were seated before we were given a menu and then another ten before taking our order and almost a half an hour to get our food. She completely forgot our drinks and we even asked again about them. Several other people had to leave as this was the lunch rush and I am sure that they had to get back to work. Lunch was almost a two hour deal for us.
Overall, the food is very good, but don't come during lunch if you are in a hurry. [20 May 2006 15:22:44]

A welcome place of quality Port Orchard has very few decent places to eat a "destination dinner." Cosmo's is definitely one. Their menu isn't going to win any awards for boldness, but they know what they do well.
We had dinner, and found both the food and service very good. They have a smallish but well-rounded wine list for a variety of budgets.
They still haven't resolved the "street entrance for restaurant/back entrance for deli" issue, so a lot of people tromp through the dining room to get to the deli, and vice-versa. Other than that, no complaints. [27 Aug 2006 02:23:11]

Loved It! We had the opportunity to dine at Cosmo's the other night and it was excellent. Very professional service without being "cheesy." Just enough choices without making it confusing. Wonderful specials, love the bread with vinegar and oil. Knowledge of wine. We'll go back. [28 Feb 2007 18:59:26]

Moldy braunshweiger. Much better when they were in the little building next to Starbucks. Now that they have moved in to the bigger building the quality has suffered with the growth I am afraid. It is still pretty good but just not to the level it once was. Be careful of new deli workers. I purchased some Braunshweiger and it was MOLDY. When I brought it back she tried to short me on the replacement and give me about 4 ounces LESS than I had paid for. Then she gave me attitude for it. I got it straightened out with management however. Despite this, I have not been back to purchase anything since. I suppose I will go back eventually but moldy braunshweiger with an attitude left a bad taste in my mouth. [14 Apr 2007 18:20:54]

Rude Rude Rude The first time I went there (at the new building next to Staples) The girl was rude. I gave her the benefit of the doubt thinking she was having a bad day. The food was good but not great and over priced. The second time I went I decided to look at some of their deli items. This girl was rude again and the manager was even worse! [05 Sep 2007 20:47:09]

Great Place to dine! We have been coming to Cosmos for over 6 months, and dine almost once a week (for lunch) and we love it. The food is consistently good, the service is great, and the soups are superb. Pricing is fair and the whole dining experience is great! [07 Jan 2008 00:05:39]
