Description

A counter service deli located right in the middle of the grocery store. Counter service features sandwiches, fried chicken, Asian food, ribs and may other take out specialties. The eating area is clean and well lit and has a self serve fountain and coffee area.

Not your traditional place, but...
While not a traditional sit down deli, it is a restaurant all the same and features lots of fresh and tasty treats. Their fried chicken is the real star in the display case, but all of their food is well prepared and tasty. Today's special included an Asian chicken dish (General Tso's Chicken) that was every bit as good as we get at any of the other Asian restaurants in town. There is seating for lots of people and room to park the shopping cart for those that are on an "expedition".

The only complaint I had was that they don't seem to have enough people to clean and restock the tables and drink area as well as they should. While not dirty to the point of distraction, it needed a wipe down all the same. And my wife had to dig through the counter storage area to restock the drink lids.    [27 May 2006 00:38:23]
