Trailer Park Catering. They did the catering for my mothers Sr Center Christmas Dinner. I went to it and tried their food. I can't say I was overly impressed. It was supposed to be a traditional turkey dinner.
The turkey was from a pressed turkey log. The dressing was really bland cornbread dressing. The vegetables were overcooked and they seemed to use a lot of pork fat/bacon in everything which tended to make everything really greasy. To top it off, the servers made high school cafeteria workers look like 5 star chefs! They were unkempt and just filthy including filth under their fingernails and really dirty greasy hair. I am not even sure if they brushed their hair when they woke up in the morning. It was not even under a chefs hat or hair nets either.
What does it take to keep a clean chefs jacket or apron to put on before serving the food? They wore dirty old sweats and looked more like a group of cleaning ladies instead of a catering service.
I was not impressed and based on my experience of just dining on their holiday turkey dinner I probably wouldn't hire them to do a wedding or anything. [14 Apr 2007 18:55:39]

Response to review Editor's note: The following was submitted to answer the above review. =========================================================
Be careful what you write when you don't know all the facts.
Number one we were asked to make the food very bland. We have been doing this dinner for 10 years and, though trial, we found the seniors like their vegetables very well cooked.
We also use a very high quality turkey breast. We would not buy pressed turkey. As far as our staff, we all have the same uniforms laundered every week by a professional laundry service. I always work this event and never wear sweats to an event.
We are off site caterers and things do get messy loading and unloading from a van.
For the 10 years we have been doing this holiday event we have never raised the price and only make food cost on this event. [16 Oct 2007 14:53:34]
