Decent Thai food with little competition
Original Thai Taste gives you honest, decent Thai food. If it were located in Seattle, it would be out-shined by many other restaurants--there's way too much competition. However, you have to go to Silverdale to find better Thai food (Bahn Thai, which is much better in all ways). For something local, to go, Thai Taste is recommended.

The ambiance in the dining room isn't great--kind of depressing in some ways. However, if you're game, go to the bar. You'll find some characters in there--kind of like a Tom Waits song come to life.    [27 Aug 2006 02:37:56]

Good food
I moved from Seattle to Port Orchard recently and was in need of my Thai fix. The place is pretty non descriptive and hard to find if you've never been there, even the sign out front was out and not lit. However the food was great, they made it as spicy as I like, which doesn't usually happen for me. The service was great also.
