By Far THE Best Restaurant in Pullman I have visited this restaurant well over 100 times because it is delicious, faster than fast food, the service is great, and the owners are people you would want to be friends with. Everything on the menu is delicious. This is not an exaggeration, everything here is good, and there is high consistency every time. There is just one thing "wrong" with this restaurant, and that is the carpet/wallpaper scheme. I don't even have to say that it is too small, because even when they are full, you get seated quickly. On the busiest of game days the longest I've ever waited is 15 minutes for a table, and about 5 minutes for food. [20 Feb 2005 00:28:42]

Most Authentic Chinese Restaurant in Eastern WA I must say that Eastern Washington is severly lacking in it's variety of ethnic restaurants. Spokane is the second largest city in the state and home to a number of Chinese restaurants claiming to be "authentic." That is not the case. New Garden in Pullman is by far, THE best Chinese restaurant I've been to in Eastern Washington. I heard about it from friends at WSU who loved it.
I finally ate there a couple years later with great hesitation. But, to my surprise it was great. The food is much like one would find in places like Seattle/Tacoma, etc. When I crave good Chinese food, the 1.5 hour drive to Pullman from Spokane is well worth it. The service is quick. The dining room is clean. I'd highly recommend it. [07 Jun 2005 16:38:11]

Definitely Best Chinese in Pullman My boyfriend and I hit up New Garden at least once every 2 weeks. The food is delicious, they're always fast and friendly. I have a feeling I'll crave their won ton soup once I leave Pullman and come back for some! [27 May 2007 17:37:20]
