my first bad meal at an Outback
Went to the Puyallup Outback for the first time last night. Couldn't have been more disappointed.

Service was very slow, despite few patrons. Lettuce in salad was limp. Side orders were wrong. The "1/2 pound" of crab was just two small legs. 1/2 pound? Not a chance.

Most important, and most surprising to this long-time Outback fan, the steaks were dreadful. Overcooked, dry, not the least bit flavorful. Are they using cheap cuts of meat now or was it a bad night at this particular location I wonder. And when both diners order the same size steak but one is almost half the size of the other, someone's gonna feel cheated!

I doubt I'll return to this restaurant. $100 for garbage.    [14 Aug 2007 13:35:39]
